Peter Rollins uses contradictions to communicate what he calls the “radical” reality of Christian theology which he believes enables us to embrace and celebrate our brokenness and thereby move toward healthy community. “The church is not designed to give you things…it helps you experience the depth, the sacredness and the beauty of what you already have.”
